Description
Australian Landscape, (Near Murwillumbah) is a highly textured gold metal leaf and oil paint on canvas painting, 30 x 30 cm. I grew up in and around Murwillumbah. My first memories are of us, The Baxter’s arriving from Sydney in 1968. I remember arriving in our Valiant Safari as a family, mum, dad, 3 kids and prince the Gold Labrador Retriever. We drove across the original old bridge, the one before the present bridge. It was made from big chunky grey weathered timber. My memories of Mur-bah, as the locals call it, are fond. I lived in Mur-bah for many years and still visit from time to time as some of my family are still there.
