Making videos is something I do from time to time to record our travels, an event, special art pieces, an exhibition, or ideas that don’t translate into other mediums easily.
For instance, ‘Francine’, is a video made from a random meeting with a person that asked for some money while we were on a holiday in N.Y. We met Francine while walking around Yale, N.Y. She stopped us in the street and offered to share a spoken word poem for a few bucks. As she spoke, I thought her story should be shared, and I asked for a second poem so I could record and share it. This is the second version, which was completely different from the first. That was in 2013, I hope Francine is OK and still sharing her poems today. 🙂
